SURPRISE!

I asked Steve to bake me a birthday cake while I'm at his site helping with his library. He's a fantastic cook and loves doing it. He agreed and even asked me what kind of cake I wanted. We spent a long third day sorting books and when we returned home at the end of the day, I had a surprise waiting for me. Haley, Jo, and Dave were there with balloons and a party. It was such a fantastic surprise. We got to hang out all evening then have some double layer chocolate cake and a sleepover. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday celebration; simple, short, sweet, with the company a few people I enjoy being around.
